Thomas is a graduate from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in Communications and has worked at the Stafford Regional Handbell Society for several years. In addition to his duties as the program director for the Bells After School program he also performs in the Society's professional handbell ensemble "Castings" and is a Basso Profundo Bell Specialist
Kasaundra is a graduate of a school of music here in Virginia. She plays multiple instruments and will be our assistant camp director this season. She has held several positions working for the Society over the years and is an accomplished performer.
Abena is a gradute of our programs and is currently matriculating at George Mason University. She is one of our lead instructors in the Bells After Schol program and is an accomplished musician and performer.
Ama is a gifted percussionist and handbell ringer. She is a product of our Bells After School program and has played in numerous performing ensembles. She looks forward to helping your child succeed in their musical endeavors.
Rosealeagh is an accomplished musician who has grown up in our program. She is vibrant and excited to get to know your students and share her love of music with them.

The staff at Banglewood includes professional educators, university graduates and students, high school students, and junior counselors
Our staff is well trained in safety practices, (CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and EpiPen procedures). Banglewood meets and exceeds all Fire and Health Inspections, student/staff ratios, staff health and background screenings meet and exceed all code requirements.
As a group, our staff is a very talented, knowledable team and they make our summer day camp a special place for kids.
EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
Banglewood firmly believes that a child's camp experience is only as good as the talent and commitment of our staff. We are committed to hiring only the best employees who are uniquely qualified to carry out the mission we have set forth.
We have three levels of staff:
Adults: 18 and older, background checked, paid
High School: currently in 9th-12th grade, paid
Middle School: currently 6th-8th grade, volunteer
All of our staff, except our volunteer middle schooler volunteers, are background checked. This background includes: identity verification, sex offender registry check, global watchlist check, national criminal records check, and county criminal records check. This background check is annual and prior to hiring.
All staff, including middle schooler volunteers, requires references, which are checked and verified prior to hiring.
