I'm Totally New to Bells
The primary level of Handbell instruction for the Stafford Regional Handbell Society. Students who achieve this level wear the purple achievement belt and are able to perform in the Ringtones ensemble. Our Beginning level ensemble is for young ringers in grades 2 - 5. Students are placed in this ensemble upon their enrollment in the Stafford Regional Handbell Society's "Bells After School" program or through being a part of our Thursday evening only options. There is no experience necessary to join and all who are enrolled will learn the basics of musicianship, reading music and basic rhythms and beginning handbell techniques. The students will progress through their individual skill training as well as learn ensemble/team skills by playing in a group setting.
